{"id":150,"date":"2021-11-25T00:07:25","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T00:07:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agileaircraft.com\/?page_id=150"},"modified":"2021-11-28T08:32:29","modified_gmt":"2021-11-28T08:32:29","slug":"wing-design","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/agileaircraft.com\/?page_id=150","title":{"rendered":"Wing Design"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Although the <a href=\"https:\/\/agileaircraft.com\/\" title=\"Home\">RingWing<\/a> wings are of unusual shape, their cross-sections are a standard airfoil (<a href=\"http:\/\/airfoiltools.com\/airfoil\/details?airfoil=s2091-il\">S2091<\/a>), chosen because that airfoil has very consistent behaviour over a wide range of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Reynolds_number\">Reynolds numbers<\/a>. Of course that result is for a long straight wing, and the RingWing has wings that are neither long nor straight.
